The Drawdy family (Roger, Kate and their baby Sky) were devastated when their home was destroyed in a fire and they were left only with the clothes on their back.  The Celtic community gathered together at Molly’s Covington for a fun-filled evening to help the Drawdy family recover from this event. The evening included music from Drawdy’s band, Roger Drawdy & the Firestarters, as well as music from the Celtic Rhythm Dancers and a silent auction. In total, over $2,800 was raised for the family.

Funds raised helped provide financing for a group of Northern Ireland teenagers, both Irish and Protestant, to live in the U.S. for a month with a host family. Live music and a silent auction featuring an autographed Johnny Bench baseball and autographed Rick Pitino basketball were highlights of the evening!
